I’m 30-something and back in school. This time for computer programming, which leaves me precious little time or energy for doing some other things that I equally enjoy. I’m starting this blog at the beginning of our Christmas break, hoping that I’ll have time and energy to update it with thoughts about some of my most favorite things.

You can be sure that I’ll be writing about any and all of the following:

Laurel & Hardy
Comic books [especially Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge ]
ALAN – [ Adventure Language for coding interactive fiction games ]
Visual Basic .NET programming
& maybe Java (since I’ll be taking Java 1 in the Spring)

Since I just got a long-waited for turntable, and I’m finally able to listen to some of my old records from the 80’s, I’ll likely be posting some on 80’s alternative music.

I’ll probably also re-post some comic strip stuff and photographs that I made for an old (long gone) site of mine a few years ago.

It’ll probably take a few weeks for me to get up to speed, but I hope that I’ll be able to update the site at least on the weekends.
